Danish artist Marco Blix creates paintings and graphic works defined by a distinctive layered process. Every work begins with a black structural foundation that guides the composition before evolving through acrylics, spray paint, oil sticks, pastels and collage. By continuously building, removing and reconstructing surfaces, Blix creates expressive compositions rich in texture, movement and depth. Fragments of urban environments and everyday materials become part of the work, where raw graphic elements and distorted, mask-like figures emerge as a signature of his visual language.
